In Planet Unknown, players find themselves in a desperate race for survival as Earth’s resources dwindle. Competing to develop the most successful planet, players send rovers to test various planets for colonization potential, discovering 1-6 viable options.
STRATEGIC TILE PLACEMENT
In each round, players strategically place one dual-resource tile shaped like polyominoes on their planet. These tiles symbolize the necessary infrastructure to sustain life and must be positioned carefully to maximize efficiency while enhancing the planet’s engine.
EXCITING ACTIONS AND CHALLENGES
Following each tile placement, players undertake two distinct actions linked to the resources on the tile. However, they must be wary—certain placements may trigger meteor events that pose challenges, hindering development and scoring opportunities.
