Description
This is the Hot Racing Splined Steel Drive Shaft Set for Traxxas Slash 2WD XL-5 and VXL electric, Nitro Rustler, Nitro Stampede, and Nitro Sport vehicles.
FEATURES:
– Heavy duty CNC machined #45 hardened carbon steel construction
– Replaces factory plastic drive axles
– Red anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings to prevent movement
– Design eliminated CV pin setscrew
– Hardened steel keyed wheel shaft and wheel hub hex (pin NOT included)
– Steel is black finished
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
– Two (2) rear splined CVD shaft assemblies
– Two (2) wheel hub hexes
– Two (2) M4 setscrews (extras may be included)
REQUIREMENTS:
– Installation
– Removable thread lock (e. g. blue Loctite) on screws threading into metal
– Light grease for CV joints and shaft slider splines helps maintain their longevity
SPECIFICATIONS:
– Approximate overall collapsed length: 99mm (3.9 inch)
– Axle stubs use stock M4 nuts
COMMENTS:
– Does NOT fit the electric Rustler or electric Stampede vehicles
– For the specified vehicles, replaces factory plastic Traxxas TRA1951 half shafts, TRA2753X stub axles, and TRA4628 output yokes
– Hot Racing replacement parts include: RECT288 (12mm hexes), RCV12DH (outdrive drive hubs), RCV12MF50 (slider shafts), RCV12AB (outer stub axle), RCV12P (CV rebuild), RCV12R (o-rings)
