SOLVING COMMON ISSUES
RPM has identified and addressed several flaws present in the stock rear bumper mount of the Traxxas Slash and other compatible models. The original design relied on a single screw, resulting in a troublesome hinge effect during rear impacts.
STRENGTHENED MOUNTING SYSTEM
The RPM replacement mount features two mounting holes on the gear cover side and three on the motor side, adding two extra points of attachment. This enhances stability and helps distribute impact forces more evenly across the transmission case, significantly reducing damage risk.
OPTIMIZED FOR PERFORMANCE
The innovative design eliminates the risk of the stock bumper/wheelie bar mount detaching after an impact, while ensuring that the mount remains neatly tucked behind the skid plate, improving rear ground clearance.
