The new Rustler® 2WD Brushless delivers more of everything: more power, more performance, and more value! Rustler’s new Velineon® 3s power system transforms 11.1 volts of LiPo power into true 60+ mph speed with no gearing changes required. Rustler soaks up surface imperfections with a revised ultra-plush suspension including GTR shocks that tame the roughest terrain. Traxxas engineers recalibrated Rustler’s suspension to maximize performance across all surfaces. The result is an ultra-plush ride that soaks up bumps to put Rustler’s massive brushless power to the ground. Rustler’s long-travel suspension and new GTR shocks dramatically improve suspension compliance. Rigid shock towers with reinforcement bracing reduce the amount of flex transferred to the chassis.
Rustler’s tough clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the action gets. Heavy-duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds to access the chassis. Rustler’s hidden latching system replaces time-consuming and inconvenient body clips with large, reinforced panels to resist pull-through damage.
The TQi™ Sport transmitter packs the range and performance of the TQi into a compact design for maximum comfort and portability. The ergonomic grip features a removable adapter to accommodate smaller hands and simple one-button programming for ease-of-use. A class-leading high-output 2.4 GHz signal delivers the outstanding range and glitch-free performance required by Rustler’s blistering speed.
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) works behind the scenes to harness Rustler’s extreme 3s brushless horsepower. TSM maximizes acceleration and braking by keeping Rustler arrow straight without pulling power or dulling throttle response, even on low-traction surfaces. TSM can also be switched off directly from the TQi Sport transmitter.
Rustler puts the power to the ground thanks to the outstanding grip of its new high-performance Sledgehammer® ST tires. The rear tires’ open-block tread design clears away mud and debris for unrivaled traction on loose surfaces. Rustler’s front tires feature deep concentric rings and wide tread blocks that combine all the off-road benefits of a ribbed tire with the grip of a street tire. Tough 2.8″ RXT 6-spoke black wheels give Rustler a powerful stance.
A high-performance chassis positions Rustler’s weight down low for agile handing and sharp reflexes. A new carbon-look chassis molded in dark gray composite combines lightweight strength with a modern high-tech appearance. An integrated receiver box saves weight and adds structural rigidity while a new battery strap blends rigid strength with clip-free convenience.
